Park24

Nashville TN | Under Construction

Park24 represents DBA’s deep affordable housing expertise thoughtfully translated through a southern lens, with vernacular design, regional construction methods, and local materials.

Intended to help Nashville residents remain and thrive in an expensive city, Park24 will provide affordable homes for existing and new neighborhood residents.

At the corner of Dickerson Pike and Berry Street, a new community hub is distinguished with dynamic massing and space for neighborhood-serving retail along the greenway. To the east along Joseph Avenue, a long residential bar is activated with a shifted massing that breaks down the scale of the 500-foot-long block and creates a public-facing, multi-use outdoor space with vibrant landscaping.

The pair of buildings addresses the neighborhood context with stepped massing to the north to blend with the residential scale. The design includes traffic-calming street improvements, and both buildings invite residents and visitors to engage and linger on grand front porches that serve as social spaces.
