Midway Village Phase 1

Daly City CA | Under Construction

Within the DBA-designed master plan, Midway Village Phase 1 is the first entitled phase of a five-phase redevelopment in Daly City.

Midway Village sits on the north-facing edge of San Bruno Mountain on a steeply sloping site where Visitacion Valley Creek once made its way out to the San Francisco Bay. The Phase 1 housing is sited on the current City-owned Bayshore Park, which will be redeveloped following the final phase of construction.

In this Phase, two all-electric buildings feature a 147 affordable homes in a mix of sizes ranging from studios to four-bedroom family apartments. The two buildings frame a shared courtyard and offer a range of outdoor and amenity spaces. The massing is varied to maintain a village scale environment within the larger redevelopment. Together, the residential masses and their connecting circulation provide active edges for an embedded parking garage that will serve the first two phases of development.
