West Sacramento CA | Completed
Paired with Jamboree’s West Gateway Place, the Bridge at West Gateway rounds out the developer’s affordable housing offerings in the area. The project site—0.9 acres carved from the overall 1.82 acre site—is bounded by West Gateway Place to the west, Tower Bridge Gateway to the north, railroad tracks to the east, and Delta Lane to the south.
The Bridge at West Gateway offers affordable family homes and amenities oriented onto a central community courtyard and shares its new resources—a children’s play area, youth gathering spaces, and a community room—with the adjacent Phase I housing. Through a partnership with Yolo County Children’s Alliance, the project offers residents access to after-school tutoring, financial literacy education, and other supportive programs designed to promote self-sufficiency.
The Bridge features open-air circulation throughout, including a sculptural green stair. Ground-floor homes connect directly to the sidewalk and rear yard via private stoops and patios.
The development is a quick walk from Sutter Health Park—home of the Triple-A baseball team the Sacramento River Cats, and temporary home of MLB’s Athletics—and less than half a mile from the DBA-designed Rivermark, one of the first affordable housing communities in West Sacramento’s developing Bridge District.
