675 East Santa Clara Housing will bring 660 affordable homes with a mix of senior and family housing, ground floor retail, public open space, and bike and pedestrian passages to San Jose, California.

The proposed project is located at the former hospital site at 675 E Santa Clara Street between 14th and 15th street. The site falls within the bounds of the Urban Village Plan and the East Santa Clara Street Master Plan. The project proposes the construction of six new multi-family residential buildings.

The buildings facing East Santa Clara Street have ground floor retail and face a public plaza. There will also be a bike and pedestrian paseo that crosses the site, connecting East Saint John Street to East Santa Clara Street.

The buildings in East Santa Clara Mixed Use were named after native medicinal plants, paying homage to the site’s healthcare history.
