the first Test Ride was May 23rd, 2010.
Assemble at Four Barrel Coffee, 375 Valencia, at 9:30 am for a 10 o'clock departure.

the sign hasn't changed since 1955 when Rex May won a competition to design a logo.

Inspired by the Downtown Association's 1938 "49 Mile Scenic Drive", this epic bicycle ride circles the City, taking in many of the tourist highlights.

Start at City Hall, and finish at the Ferry Building. On the way ride by China Town, Fisherman's Wharf, Ft. Mason, Crissy Field, the Golden Gate Bridge, The Presidio, The Cliff House, Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, Lake Merced, the de Young Museum, the Academy of Sciences, the Panhandle Park, Twin Peaks, the Wiggle, Mission Dolores, the Mission District, Bayview, Mission Bay, and the Giant's Baseball Stadium.

And this version actually is 49 miles long!
