Spaghetti House

Berkeley CA | Completed

1978

David Baker's UC Berkeley M-Arch thesis project brought to life: Spaghetti House takes its name from its long, skinny footprint.

After designing Spaghetti House for his thesis project at U.C. Berkeley, David Baker built and lived in the house himself. The renovation of the deteriorated 1911 stucco duplex uses every inch of available space and is powered by alternative energy sources.
