Third and Carroll Senior Housing is the third of a quartet of buildings making up a new neighborhood along the Third Street Corridor. This project will bring a diverse collection of studio, loft, one- and two-bedroom market-rate rental apartments to the rapidly developing area.
The five-story building will feature a ground level of lofts with apartments above. The main entry, common room and lounge will be located along a landscaped pedestrian mews at the north portion of the site.
Across the mews, 5800 Third Street Housing will round out the quartet of buildings with affordable senior apartments and a neighborhood-serving senior community center.
The two sites will feature a comprehensive landscape plan that also includes major landscape improvements along Carroll Street.
At Third and Carroll Housing, two podium courtyards will provide sheltered private outdoor space at the second level.
An at-grade garage will hold 129 parking spaces in tandem parking lifts.
