West Gateway

West Sacramento CA | In Design

Entitled and currently in design, this second phase of a built affordable family housing community project will add 60 affordable family homes and additional supportive services to the City of West Sacramento.

The project site is 0.9 acres carved from an existing 1.82 acre site, bounded by a railroad track to the east, Delta Lane to the south, West Gateway Place Phase 1 to the west, and Tower Bridge Gateway road to the north.

The affordable family homes and amenities are oriented onto a central community courtyard, and the new project will eventually share resources with the adjacent Phase 1 housing. The development features open-air circulation throughout, including a sculptural green stair. Ground-floor homes connect directly to the sidewalk and rear yard via private stoops and patios. Located on a previously undeveloped site, the project features surface and off-site parking and has a goal of GreenPoint Rating.
