The Union is a community-focused, mixed-use building bringing new homes to the junction of Union, Fifth, and Magnolia Streets just steps from the West Oakland BART station.

Built with 85 prefabricated modules by Factory _OS on Mare Island in Vallejo, the development offers 110 ne homes over 3,000 square feet of commercial space.

The residential entry plaza is framed by a custom front door, perforated weathering-steel fencing, and textured concrete, bringing a rich, tactile impact to the entry sequence.

The building is clad with weathering steel and random-batten siding. Facades are punctuated by graphic floor-to-ceiling windows that frame dramatic views of the Oakland Port and hills, as well as San Francisco Bay.
